# 10 RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK

Raiders of the Lost Ark is an action adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg. It stars Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones a treasure hunter that fights against the Nazis because they both are in search of the Lost Ark. I loved this movie because I always thought all the Indiana Jones movies were really boring but this one wasn't. I really enjoyed watching it although it was a bit old and I usually don't like watching old movies but this one I really liked. I thought it was great and the best Indiana Jones movie, I don't think the other sequels made after this movie are as good as this one. One of my favorite scenes is when Indiana is in the Peruvian jungle and he already has the treasure but then his enemy, his rival, takes it away and as Indiana tries to escape he is attacked by indigenous Hovitos people. I really liked that scene because those people look so realistic, it was scary watching him run and the Indians after him throwing sparrows, that was a really cool scene that I really enjoyed watching. I thought the director made a great job in capturing the Hovitos people culture like the way they dress and the way they speak and the way they kill people. Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark is a great movie to watch when you're looking for an adventure film. Another scene I really liked was when Jones and his former lover were trapped in with a bunch of snakes and they couldn't get out but somehow Indiana found a way out. That's what I enjoyed about this movie, the fact that you know that whatever problem Indiana faces he will find a solution and he will fight against any one in his path. Everything in this movie was great every scene was very well done even though the situations are not very realistic you still get into it. I usually don't like watching movies where the characters are put in situations that really wouldn't happen and are not very realistic but this movie was great and I really liked everything about it. I'm glad we watched this movie in class because I probably would have never watched it and wouldn't know what I was missing. I'm sure very one who watches this movie will agree with me when I say that this is the best Indiana Jones movie and that it should be watched by every one.

# 9 STAND BY ME

Stand By Me is an adventure-drama film directed by Rob Reiner. The film was based on a novella written by Stephen King titled The Body. The movie follows the journey of four 12-year-olds in search of a dead boy's body. The four main characters are made up of great actors such as River Phoenix as Chris Chambers, Wil Wheaton as Gordie Lachance, Cory Feldman as Teddy Duchamp, and Jerry O'Conell as Vern Tessio. The characters were great, each one had his own story to tell and they were all so different from each other. I really liked this movie a lot because these kids are not like kids now a days. These kids were brave enough to leave their homes in search of a dead boy's body, in my time kids would not do what these characters in the movie did. I really enjoyed watching Stand By Me because it was well done, every scene really was about the kids journey, unlike other movies where the movie will be changing scenes from one character's story to another not really giving you a chance to relate to the character. I thought all the actors were really well chosen because it made me feel as if the actors were all really good friends in real life and as if I was walking along with them in their journey. I would definitely recommend everyone to watch Stand By Me because its a movie that leaves you thinking if you and your friends would ever go on a journey to find a dead body. I thought it was funny how some of the characters did not get along but yet they still went on a trip. Also, the plot of the story was very unique in my opinion because there are not many movies with a plot about four 12-year-olds going on a trip to find a dead body, so I thought this movie was very unique and I would watch this movie again. Stand By Me is a one of a kind adventure film.

# 8 FINDING NEMO

Finding Nemo is 2003 animated great film Coral and Marlin are living together expecting to soon have a big family , they were checking up on their kids when everything goes quiet and suddenly Coral is eaten by a barracuda. From that point on Marlin is a little insecure about going out into the sea he wants to stay well protected just were he is . The main characters in this movie is Nemo voice played by Alexander Gould, Dory voice played by Ellen DeGeneres , and Albert Brooks as Marlin. Dory is a little blue fish a regal tang that has a short term memory loss. One of my favorite scenes in this movie is when Dory , Nemo , and Marlin are together they need to push down on the fish net because all the fish are trapped and Nemo wants to save the fishes. Still Marlin isn't sure about whats going to happen he is still insecure, Marlin suddenly feels some what confident marlin quickly trusts his son and knows he has to be a little confident in his son knowing that he can accomplish what he wants. Finally his over protective dad learns to let go.Another good scene was when Dory feels better with herself and with the help of her friend her memory stays with her longer , she is very surprised when she is able to remember the address written on the goggles. I think anyone should go out and rent , buy this movie it is a really great one for kids fascinating for them I believe. I really enjoyed this movie it made me laugh , I could tell my little cousins enjoyed watching this film as much as I did or even more but also this movie I believe has a good lesson in the scene where Marlin tells his son Nemo come back here and he does not listen , it showed you have to obey your parents or any one elder than you because they know what right from wrong is.It is not to punish the kids when they say no don't do this , or no you cant go it is to keep them safe you know you don't want anything bad happening to a loved one. This move doesn't have to entertain children only ,even adults can enjoy it my parents enjoyed watching this movie with me at the theaters.This film won a Academy Award for best animated feature. It was the best selling DVD of all times over forty million copies sold , and in 2008 they made it the top ten greatest American animated film.

# 7 IRON MAN

Iron Man is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film was directed by Jon Favreau and it stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, a billionaire engineer who builds a suit made of iron that he later wears and uses to fight evil guys. This movie is one of my personal favorites because I enjoy watching action movies but I really didnt expect much of this movie, I thought it would just be another lame superhero movie but it turned out to be a really great movie. I like how its not like the other super hero movies that show really crazy situations going on in the world that really wouldnt really happen. The problems that Iron Man fought against were really realistic. Like when he fought against some guys that were aking advatange of people that would be something that would happen unlike other movies they have people from other planets and animals destroying the world that to me is not a movie I would like to watch. I would love to watch Iron Man again, it really had me on edge when the other bad guy created an Iron Man for himself and fough against the original Iron Man that was a great scene I really liked it. Also, I liked how the movie isnt all about Iron Man its also about the man behind iron man, its also about Tony stark and his personal life. Iron Man is a movie i like watching with my friends and I would tell every one to go out and watch Iron Man and I guarantee any one who watches it will love it.

#6 Napoleon Dynamite

Napoleon Dynamite is an American independent comedy film directed by Jared Hess and Jerusha Hess. The film is about a nerd Napoleon Dynamite played by Jon Heder, who befriends a foreign exchange student named Pedro, portrayed by Efren Ramirez, and a girl named Deb played by Tina Majorino. Together they face many funny adventures that maybe some nerds at school face. Napoleon Dynamite is such a great movie to watch with family and friends because it can be enjoyed by little kids as well as by adults. Its a good movie to watch when you just want to get a good laugh. I really enjoyed watching this movie because I cant believe that with such a low budget like the one the directors and producers had for this movie, they made a movie that was worth more than what they spent on it. It really turned out great even so that it was given a limited release and yet it such a huge success that it grossed over one hundred times its production cost. Napoleon Dynamite is one of the best comedy movies I have ever seen, its with out a doubt the best comedy film in 2004. I liked how it shows some of the issues that lonely kids like Napoleon and his friends had to face, like them getting bullied by Randy, the school bully, that happens in some schools and I like how they integrated this issue into the movie because that way some kids can relate to Napoleon. This movie is really a great movie to watch I recommend every one to go out and rent it because I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

# 5 The Matrix

The movie the matrix is about a computer game, a device that speaks gives information. Neo is played by Keanu Reeves is one of the main characters in this movie he hacks into computers and he wants to know what the matrix is. Morpheus wants Neo to join in with them. This movie was a little confusing it didn't get into to much details in certain scenes I got a little lost , wondering what just had happened because its not like they are reviewing the movie with you and letting you know what goes on in each scene. In the scene with Trinity and Neo are at top roof they have a good visual of how Neo has to have a reflect to get away from the bullets. this seen like others i liked the slow it up a bit and show you slowly the visual effects. This movie was also received Oscars for film editing , sound effects editing, visual effects , and sound. this film is to science-fictional. I would recommend this movie because I myself was into the movie it was sort of catching it would have me sitting there wondering what was going to happen next. In one of the scenes when Neo is in the game and he is learning his skills , when the women in the red dress passes him he gets distracted it was so real, when suddenly he begins to get attacked he begins to realize how he should be more cautious. I found The Matrix really interesting it really catches your attention in the way that it makes you want to keep watching the movie so that you can find out what is really going on in the movie. I think every one who likes to enjoy a good thrilling movie would absolutely enjoy watching The Matrix.

#4 Top Three Films

My favorite Genre is comedy. I enjoy watching movies that have you laughing most of the time, it is like something unexpected that you don't think you'll hear and when you do you just cant stop laughing, I will go back and replay a scene and replay it just so I can get a good laugh at it.

1. Step Brothers

This is my number one favorite comedy because Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly were hilarious in this movie. It so funny how they are grown men and still living with their parents. They act like little kids and they can't even get a job because they are so immature but that is whats best about the movie. I really enjoy watching Step Brothers and it definitely deserves to be my number one favorite comedy.

2. I Pronounce you Chuck and Larry

I really liked this movie because it shows what lengths friends will go to in order to help out a friend. I liked how these two friends were really there for each other when they needed the most help. What Chuck did for Larry was such an awesome way of helping out a friend. He pretended to be gay just so that his friend could name his children primary beneficiaries in his life insurance. This movie was so hilarious and i really enjoyed watching it.

3. Over Her Dead Body

This movie beside the comedy it has a bit of romance. I enjoyed watching this movie because the beginning of the movie was uncalled for I was astonished when Kate had gotten killed by an ice angel and died on the day of her wedding. The hilarious scenes to me were when she kept tormenting Ashley following her every where she went. I also liked how wat the end she understands that whats best for her ex husband is to be with Ashley the women that made him stop hurting after her death.
