#3 Being a critic.

The film 50 First Dates is a romantic comedy it was directed by Peter Segal, it stars Adam Sandler and Drew Berrymore. Adam Sandler plays Henry Roth and Drew Baryymore plays as Lucy Whitmore. Henry meets Lucy in a cafe early in the morning , Henry introduces himself and he seemed to get along well with Lucy so Henry invites her on a date to the same cafe store . The next morning he shows up at the cafe store and finds Lucy and she claims that she has no idea who Henry is. The cafe owner pulls Henry to the side and lets him know that she suffers from anterorgrade amnesia that she got from a car accident. I really liked this film because the plot of the story was funny. Adam Sandler is one of my favorite characters, in this movie he was really hilarious. I loved how each day he did something different to make her love fall in love with him. I really liked watching 50 First Dates because it such a fun movie to watch with friends and its a great date movie. My favorite character was with out a doubt the penguin Sandler's character used to catch Lucy's attention when she's driving down a road and he puts him in the middle of the road and she accidentally runs the penguin over, I just thought that was absolutely hilarious. I liked how this movie wasn't just another one of those comedies that are all about having funny experiences with drugs or anger problems like other Adam Sandler movies. This was such a lighthearted comedy that really makes you feel what Henry had to feel when ever Lucy didn't recognize him. As I watched it I was hoping she would some how recover from her short term memory loss and would actually rememebr him the next day. I recommend every one to watch 50 First Dates because it will make you want to watch it more than once.

# 2 What film should we watch in this class?

I think the movie we should be watching is Taken. I think we should all be watching this movie because it shows a side that we don't normally see in every day life. The movie has crimes and corruption. Corruption is happening a lot in several places it could be happening a lot here in the U.S but its not as visible,in some areas it is much worse than here. Kidnapping happens through out the whole world the sad thing is what is involved with this is sex trafficking that main reason why the kidnappers kidnap in the fist place. 

In some parts of the world  i believe people are well aware of the people that are committing these crimes but they might be afraid to talk possibly they might be threatened .To me the sad thing is that some kidnappers have a family of their own and yet there are taking others kids it makes no sense. How can some one have a family of their own and destroy someone Else's. This movie also shows how a father,is willing to do everything for his family that in this case is his daughter. In this case Bryan is the dad and the Daughter that is kidnapped is Kim,Although he is well aware of the sex trafficking , he knows there is only a certain time to get his daughter back before they send her to a different state. Bryan knows most of his good resources because he used to work for the CIA, He had retired to spend some time with his daughter. Several people that sadly go through these cases have to hurry into finding their loved ones. In some occasions family cant do anything to help so they sit and wait, even though someone wants to try and go out to find that someone they cant because they have no idea what to do,how to confront the situation. They basically cant take it into their own hands.

1. Man on Fire. The movie makes it to my top because it shows how on a daily bases how several people are  kidnapped, you might not noticed it because it hasn't occurred to you yet.

2. P.S I love You. this movie just makes you think about things you have maybe that the person next to you doesn't . makes you realize not to take things for granted.

3. The Boy with the Striped Pajamas. This movie just gives a different perspective about the world war. It focuses on a family and it gives you their lifestyle just to show how life was for them back then.

4. Awakenings. shows how others live with disabilities we might not see in every corner , but they exist.

5. The Note Book. It was a movie about love, shows how far love can get to everyone.

6. Nicks  and Nora's infinite playlist. it was funny. The movie was based on one whole day, instead of others that right away one minute into the movie its noon and a second later its the next night.

7. Yes Man. Made it to one of the top  because it just made me have a good time. Non-stop laughter.

8. American Gangster.It was an interesting movie it made me wonder what was going to happen next.

9. Because I Said So. This movie was interesting in having to see the point of views of each character.

10. Wedding Crashers. This movie was very funny.
